Actually partial blame must go to Hamblin because you EXPECT a hit in that situation at home especially. Boyce has something to overcome certainly. Anyone know what the problem is ?

From what I was able to tell while listening, Hamblin hit the ball on the nose, but within reach of the SS.  Can't fault him for that.

Now, when a pitcher hits a batter, throws two wild pitches that scores runs and gives up a two run RBI then that is who should have a finger pointed at him.

Holloway is hurt. Maday has a sore arm.
Still they could have gone with Lee Land.
Van Horn admitted after the game he wanted to take Boyce out. He said Coach Jorn wanted to keep him in. Looks like a situation where Van Horn deviated from his normal botom line approach and it cost him. I don't think he'll do that again.
