Why do I have to submit extra verification just to post a reply?

I just rejoined Hogville after a 3.5 year self imposed vacation. Every time I try to post a message now, I also have to type in a series of hard to read letters and answer some other questions. Is there any way around that issue?

All kidding aside, it's an anti-spam measure (works very well, actually). No worries, though, you're just about done dealing with it.
