A little bit of Sabermetrics, great coaching, and tremendous position players is what helped yield the turnaround for us.  Plus the pitching came on really strong; kind of like riding a hot goalie all the way to the Stanley Cup.

Having the 3rd highest payroll doesn't hurt....when it's spent the right way.
