Just beat Alabama on Thursday and get back on track. I do not care if we are ranked as long as we are in the tourney at seasons end.

Agree.. Every time we are ranked, our playing goes to horse poo.

It will be interesting to see if we get back in this week.  We didn't play particularly well this week, but in the end we did win both of our games to improve to a very solid 15-4 with a top 25 RPI.   The numbers support us being ranked in the 20 to 25 range.

The AP Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll are the two most referenced, but they aren't released yet.  CBS does not have us in their top 25.  They do have Oklahoma at 12-7 and Georgia at 13-5 both in.  Oklahoma has been the victim of a brutal recent schedule...but 12-7 is what it is, and simply doesn't warrant inclusion in the top 25.  Considering we have a better record, RPI, and win over UGA in their building, I can't see much justification for having them ranked above us.
