coach, my back hurts

Good article.  It nice to see some names of players we are trying to go after.  Are all these boys for next yrs class or the yr after?

Is Joyner and Clark both PG or SG.  We need a PG.

I'm good friends with Keith, went to high school etc.
I'm trying my best to get him up here.  Tell him all the time he will be treated like royalty on the hill and such.  He is a great athlete and can put up big numbers in and up and down system.  We do have a good shot but its all about the visit right now.  Sept 22nd is what he told me
Heres a good pic of Keith from state tournament his senior year...

Joyner is supposed to be a point guard, but I would figure Clark is more of a shooting guard.

No clue but I have seen him block some ridiculous shots and have some incredible dunks.
That picture right there, is off a missed 3 point shot and he flew in at perfect timing to slam it home without the ball coming down.
I'm def in his ear about it though hah, he will ask me questions every week or so about Arkansas.

Kilgor

Just try to get him to wait and see how we play this year before he signs.

coach, my back hurts

Hopefully Pel has asked him not to commit until he visits both schools.  What does Mizz have to offer that we cant?  Do they have nice bball facilities?

Where did he play HS?

Realist

UAB recruited him heavy out of high school and he knows Coach Anderson pretty well.  They have that going for them.
He played for Siegel High School in Murfreesboro, TN.  They were a TN basketball powerhouse (much better than AR basketball) during his years there.  Went something like 60-8 during his junior and senior year.
I know Stefan Welsh remembers playing against him in AAU because I asked him one night at a frat house about him.  He won't commit until he sees Arkansas, I know that much.

Kilgor

I think a lot of recruiting doors will open for Pelphrey after he has put his product on the floor for a season.  I hope some of the guys we are interested in don't sign elsewhere in the meantime.

Terrico White has it down to Arkansas and Georgia St.

As everyone already knows White is a 6-5 athletic PG out of Memphis.

Interesting the last player we beat out GSU for was Dontell Jefferson who himself was a 6-5 athletic PG.

Razorod

Is it possible that White is plan B, in case Pel doesn't land either Henry or Clarke?
Hoping the Hogs basketball fortunes change for the better this season.

Well Henry isn't a guard.

As for Clarke we would think that he would be higher up the list then a White, but the UA coaches may see something in White that they like more then others.

I believe only Arkansas and GSU have offered him.

My take on this coaching staff is they are not concerned about what the recruiting scouts say, stars and national praise mean nothing to them.

It's all about a certain kind of athlete I guess.

Well that's a no brainer decision.
