He still put up a solid performance! Interesting to see how NC plays him tomorrow..

He was tremendous passing out of the double teams. Also hit the jumper from the corner that iced the game!

Carolina is loaded with bigs, as usual. My concern is Gafford getting in early foul trouble, probably their plan,

He might as well get use to that. He could also learn from Trey how to pass out of the double team. Find the open man hopefully cutting to the basket down the middle.

Gafford was awesome, and we got great production from our frontline.

OU F/C:  21 points, 19 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks, 5 TOs

Hogs F/C: 29 points, 28 boards, 8 assists, 2 blocks, 7 TOs

As good as our senior guards are, if teams can't out-baseline us, they are in trouble.  Basically we played another really good perimeter group to a draw and then won the frontline.

Anyone who didn't think he passed well out of double does not know basketball. He was getting it out across court before the double was set. 13 pts, 8 rebs & 2 blocks in 25 minutes.

Loved how Dan moved the ball when the double came ... in fact, aside from the blistering-hot 1-on-1 starts by both Macon and Barford, our best offense ran through our bigs ... Trey had 5 assists in 15 mins, and Dan had 2 but should have had more if Beard finsihes that chippie and Dustin finishes that late bank shot that would have been an and-1.
