Ben Baby: Jarrett Stidham to A&M? Starting to look like that might not happen

About a month ago, many wondered if former Baylor quarterback Jarrett Stidham could continue his career at another school located off Highway 6.

Stidham, who transferred from Baylor after his freshman year and is taking classes at Waco's McLennan Community College, appeared to be interested in heading to Texas A&M. The Aggies will lose starting quarterback Trevor Knight after his redshirt senior season.

Florida and Auburn appear to be very interested in Stidham. A&M? Not so much.

Baylor transfer quarterback Jarrett Stidham is looking at Auburn, Florida and A&M.

After sitting out the 2016 season, Stidham will be an instant contributor wherever he goes. In 10 quarters as a starter, Stidham threw for 934 yards and 6 touchdowns. He led Baylor to a 2-1 record, with wins on the road against Oklahoma State and Kansas State. Rated a 5-star quarterback by some outlets, Stidham is the top JUCO player on the market [maybe ever].

Stidham noted to ESPN on Thursday that former Baylor offensive coordinator Kendal Briles could also play a part.

Well ... Auburn has a quarterback. Sean White.

From what Stidham told Bleacher Report, A&M has not been in consistent contact as of late.

Right. If A&M went after Stidham, didn't get him and then had Mond decommit, it'd be another QB fiasco.
