Absolutely not.    You can't find two more despicable fan bases in sports.

I don't disagree about Cowboys' fans.  But Cards' fans are class acts.

Never met any before, then?
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Cards' fans actually cheer for opposing players if they've played well for them in the past when they come up to bat.  You will never see huge sections of empty seats at Busch.  They are a huge presence at every away game.  And they are more knowledgeable about the game itself than any other National league team, and are right up there with Yankee and Red Sox fans in that area.

Cubs' fans eat their own(like that Bart kid).

How are Cardinals' fans "despicable"?

Heck, we had a 15 page thread on here, asking why the Athletic Department didn't update the score of Cardinal games at Razorback athletic events.

You'll never find a more entitled bunch of whining crybabies than Cardinal fans;  they're essentially Longhorn fans, with more success.

There isn't enough room on this message board to cover it.

Coughlin just screwed up

Manning should catch a *lot* of grief for that 3rd down throw away.

The conversion difference between a 19 yard FG, and a 35 yard FG is minimal, and it would have meant another 40 seconds, if he just lays down instead of throwning it out of bounds.

yes he was

so that means the Cowboys were lucky to have that extra 35 seconds

you can't have it both ways

Agree. Could have killed 40 more seconds running the ball

Romo is not the reason the Cowboys have continued to suck it up.  He and Witten are the ONLY reason this team has been even half-way decent the last few years.

The Romo haters crack me up.  They overlook the tons of failed 1st round draft picks Juhrry has made the last 20 or so years...

wish dmac would get a better opportunity

In his last three seasons he has averaged 3.3, 3.3, and 3.4 yards per carry.  Last night he averaged 2.7 yards per carry.  Joseph Randle averaged 4.1.

NFL GM's and coaches don't care that Darren played at Arkansas, and Darren has done nothing in the last few years to prove that he needs to get more carries than the other backs on the roster(s).

He looked great on the one meaningful drive he got last night. He was with the raiders the last three years. Get a clue.

He is playing behind Joseph Randle.  Why might that be?

Last year, while Darren was averaging 3.4 for the Raiders, Latavious Murray was putting up 5.2 per carry.  The year before (2013), Rashad Jennings averaged 4.5 while Darren was producing 3.3.  In fact, as a team the Raiders averaged 4.6 per rush despite Darren's 3.3 pulling down the overall numbers.

In 2012 Marcel Reece averaged 4.6 and Mike Goodson averaged 6.3...to Darren's 3.3.  The only player on the Raiders' team with at least 10 carries who didn't average more than McFadden was Carson Palmer.

Maybe I'm not the one who needs to get a clue.

Whatever, Darren has had his problems staying healthy. When healthy he is a productive back (career ypc 4.1 despite playing in one of the worst situations in the nfl), and he would thrive in the cowboys scheme with this line. He was the best back in preseason according to many so called sources. Heck, there were several articles stating he would be the starter just days before the game. They went with Randle for whatever reason, but Darren looked great when he got a chance. His avg was brought down by a single running play that got blown up at no fault of his own.

Dr. Starcs

Randle has been in the cowboys system for a few years now and I think the coaches feel more comfortable with him at this point.

I still thought dmac looked good with what chance he got last night and there's still a lot of season left.

Richard_white

The Cowboys RB's produced 220 total yards last night. Since it's a RB committee that will work.

Good. I hope they loose every frigging game next year, get the first draft, and he decides to go baseball so he won't be embarrassed wearing that goofy ass star on his head.

I think we have seen that in our basketball program.  It's slowly finally coming out of it though.  This season though isn't going to be pretty.

Cards fans are class acts.
I'm a Red Sox fan - went to one of the World Series games a few years back and the Cards fans were great.
Most of them just love the game and appreciate good baseball.

I hope to God that Jerry stays away from the Manziel circus.
I don't think anything with Manziel ends well for any team.
