cant get any worse, and maybe he can get the ball rolling again so we can then get a young proven coach

I will sign that petition! A losing season of 40 minutes of hell is better than watching anything else put on the court since.

I fell asleep at a game or 2 during heathball, and 40 minutes of pel is painful to watch.

Bums are the well-to-do of this day. They didn't have as far to fall.

At least his first game back would be a sellout...i think.  But I would rather see MA coaching and NR sitting a few rows behind the bench every night, cheering on the team.

No to Nolan, No to Mike, some people have short memories.

Fletch

The man who started the downfall of the program, and made sure the U of A was dragged through the mud through ongoing lawsuits will never be the man to revive your program. And Bob Knight will never be brought back to revive Indiana either.
I feel like $100

WhiteHairedDevil

Nolan should have never been fired!  Thanks Frank Broyles!

Porkys Revenge

Forgive and forget. Mike as the head coach, Nolan as his assistant. And go ahead and build Nolan that statue, he deserves it.

To the lame brains who don't want Nolan, scratch your pea-brained
heads and ask yourself this question:

Would you rather have a coach with an attitude who took you to
our one and only national championship, or would you rather have
a meek loser without an attitude who can't win a f**** thing?

The long Grey line will never fail our country.

40 min of Hell were great. Not to mention the National Championship.

1highhog

Yeah, bring Nolan back, that will make us look good, lol.  Who do you think started us on this long slide into oblivion?

dos

Oh yeah, when all else fails BLAME NOLAN! Man get real! Pel is the coach NOT NOLAN! Oh how we forget ALL the great things Nolan did! Most obvious a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, but you right that was Nolan's fault too!

What, you mean 14-15 might upset some people?
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Nolan's worst teams would beat this Pel team by 20.

Nolan had such a ego, that he thought he should never have to ASK for a job, and after he won the '94 championship, he made public statements that now the recruits would be calling him, instead of he having to call them, and thus the start of the decline in recrruiting and the basketball program.

He felt it was beneath his dignity to have to recruit 18 year old basketball star players, such as a Ronnie Brewer of Fayetteville high school.

He also was given the title of Assitant Director of Athletics and Head Coach of the Razorback Basketball team, in order that he could be given a hefty raise and honor for winning the NC.

Again, his ego kicked in, and this really started the bad blood feud between Broyles and Richardson, as Nolan complained he was being used as a "token", and had no power as Assistant Athletic Director, which was the same title the track and field coach had for winning so many track and field championships.

After receiving that title, Nolan wanted to be AD, and wanted Broyles to retire and get out of Dodge so he could be AD.

If that had happened, his loyal ex-player and assistant coach, Mike Anderson would have been hired by Nolan to be the Razorback HC of basketball, and Houston Nutt would have been fired, and a black HC hired for the football team.

Isn't Nolan about 87 years old by now?

No to Nolan. Just as I have not forgotten all the bad things about my exwife I have not forgotten all the bad things about Nolan. He is a bitter hateful racist and I have no need to ever have him associated with my university ever again.

I think we should beat anyone who has ideas that we disagree with and dares to make the public.  You're right on here.

Everyone and their dog on here turned in to dr. Phil. That's my favorite part. Everybody had advice. If I ever need advice, which is doubtful, hogville will be the last place I come for it.

Watching the rockets launch from the beach is way cool. Time for a new NASA to continue the mission. Crying shame we have a president that hates America. You people get what you deserve  #obamasfault

Nolan was right... this state IS a racist backwards toothless idiotic state. Set the program back?!?!??! There IS NO BACK from where we are. This is the VERY LOWEST EVER. You are on crack.
