Doesn't work that way. You have to wait for your regular eligibility to expire and then petition for the additional year.

Edit. Looked it up. I was wrong.

The thing you have to wait for the last season for is the application for is the sixth year of eligibility. (Which you only need if you redshirted for a year, then lost *another* season to an injury.)
