Let's look at this with reason.  Arkansas, much to the surprise of many but not me, will start a QB with big game experience (no, I'm not talking about Mustain) , two All-World tailbacks, a great lot of recievers, and a good offensive line.  The defense will be much improved as they showed throughout last season.  USC on the other hand will have a green QB starting his first game along with green RBs. Their defense which was full of holes last year will be worse.  I look for Arkansas to dominate with the running game along with the added passing threat.  Plus Arkansas will be at home on national TV with redemption from last year on thier minds.  RRS will be rocking.  My prediction...

I agree with you, USC is losing a lot of players.  QB, both RB, several offensive linemen.  I think we will be able to get to their QB this year.  They do have great talent, BUT they will be new and at a VERY loud stadium.  It will be just as loud as when Texas was here.

First of all, that chick in your avatar is hot..... Hard to think with that up there.....but I do agree, USC is losing their QB, and 2 RBs..... but you have to understand that when a team of USC's caliber loses players like that they, unlike us, have 4 and  5 stars backing them up...... With Lane Kiffin, understudy of NORM CHOW, calling the plays-- I believe they will not miss a beat....again teams like that reload and don't make losing players of that caliber an excuse, like NUTT does........ For example look what Tubberville did after he lost his SR QB, and 2 tailbacks--   almost won the West.......... The key to USC's offense is their line............ USC 35  Hogs 10

I don't see how all you guys can say they will score 40 or more against us.  They lost all their big time stars from the offensive side and several linemen.  By the end of last year our defense was much improved and we don't lose much from that team.

Sure they have stud back ups, but first time starters make mistakes. Plus playing at our place will give us a huge advantage.  I think this will definately be a close game.  I say 35-30 Arkansas.

Here's what happens.

Southern Cal gets the ball to start the 7th OT.  1st play the throw an INT and we run it back for a TD.  The 2 point conversion is good.  Up 66-58 Pete Carrol demands we play offense so his defense will get a chance at a defensive TD.  Nutt out of a show of sportsmanship decides to take a knee.  Mustain fakes taking a knee and throws a TD pass to Monk in the endzone.  Arkansas converts the 2 point conversion and we win by 16 in 7 overtimes.  Instead of tearing down the goalposts, all 70,000 fans tear down the scoreboard and crush many cars.  This enrages many fans and forces Broyles to move all home games to Little Rock due to the rowdiness displayed on The Hill
