Looks like I'm a Cheesehead tomorrow. I seriously have no dog in this hunt. Really could give 2 chits. Brett Goode (killed us against Texas with the bad snap) is a Razorback. Shawn and Wally contributor, I'm going Packers.

If you haven't made up your mind, perhaps this flow chart will help.

I hate the Packers with intensity.   My wife likes the Steelers, so I  get celebratory sex if they win.   Pretty simple formula, and it doesn't require a chart.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. Black and yellow, black and yellow. Chart confirmed it. Packers are my least favorite team in the NFL.

The chart did not settle things.

As I Cowboys fan, I'd like to see both teams' cities nuked, along with Auburn, because I'm vindictive like that.

I never remember a super bowl that I was looking forward to less than this. I hate both these teams. Then again I thought that about the Giants/Patriots game too and it turned out great.

Bet Pittsburgh +3 and hope G.B. wins by 2. Best thing about todays game is that the winner will still get the trophy in Dallas and we will see Jerry Jones up on the stage just thinking about what could have been.

This is shaping up to be a tavern split ... a fight?  Well, at least a food fight!  ;D

I've got no favorite in this one, but it is at least a couple of teams playing they should make it a great game.  And one without the personal potential for a coronary, the food notwithstanding.

Sometime during the game I'll unconsciously start cheering for a team and hope they win.  Well, maybe.  ;)

Mr. Cooper

Let's see.. It would be awesome if:

The Packers were winning 7-3 after the first quarter.

Gonna take some help, but then the Steelers need to lead 12-7 at the half.

Then the Packers jump back out in front 19-12.

Then the Packers end up winning 27-23.

It's not like I have money riding on this or anything..

Very True and I'm a Cowboy fan. These guys aren't saints, they play the most violent game on earth and it's fun to watch.  I don't mind professional athletes having an 'edge' - they are not the people our society needs to idolize...We all just need to enjoy the entertainment value of the game - GOTTA LOVE  IT!

Count me in. BTW, the girl that accused Irvin plead guilty to perjury. The other sexual incident happened after he retired from the Cowboys. His other crimes involved substances that Matt Jones knows a thing or two about.

Hilarious.   Two sexual incidents by a Cowboy all-timer are not noteworthy, but the same number of allegations against Ben are somehow sufficient to make him worthy of revulsion.

lets have a guess the score contest for a gift certificate or something. Make the tiebreaker something like the total number of passing yards Big Ben will have. Just a thought, just a thought.

As I said: Irvin had 1 alleged sexual incident while a member of the Cowboys franchise. That incident was recanted by the accuser, who was later charged and plead guilty to perjury.
Ben has two alleged incidents that are very believable, so much so that he served a suspension.
If that's hypocrisy, fine.

Irvin had *2* accusations of sexual assault, neither of which have been charged.  Same as Ben  -- absolutely -0- difference.  Oh-- and Irvin has a long and laudable drug history as well,   which helped him to a couple of suspensions (one football, one after football) --  both are pretty repugnant individuals,  but any Cowboy fan who cheered Irvin but boos Ben is nothing more than a base hypocrite.

Michael Irvin had been out of the NFL for 8 years when he had his second sexual accuser.
I am not arguing the fact that they are both "repugnant individuals," I'm defending the fact that I had cheered for him as a Cowboy, and that I appreciate what he did for the Cowboys franchise.
At the time, the only sexual encounter he had was proven to be completely made up, which is a lot more than you can say for Ben. His other problems were crimes where the only victim was himself.
In Ben's case, he very likely assaulted two women. If I am a hypocrite for finding one easier to cheer for as a player than the other, then I guess I have different morals.

You're making the exact same assumptions that people made regarding Irvin's accusers before the first was shown to be specious, about Big Ben's accusers-- and unlike Ben,  Irvin actually has a major criminal drug record *while playing* for your chosen team .   That is rank hypocrisy, and amorality at it's absolute finest,  if you can cheer for one and besmirch the other.   Cheer for both, or cheer for neither,  but one standard need only apply,  lest your conception of morality have no meaning whatsoever, beyond the color of the uniform.
