Highlights of the 31-10 win in Jackson in 87, enjoy!

Was a nice win! It was the only game I've ever attended there.
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

Thanks, 09. Great memories! I was there, also. Greg Thomas was very good when he was healthy.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

I remember Atwater paying the WR back for the horse-collar tackle after his INT. That hit should have made the highlight reel...

My ex wife had a pet monkey I used to play with. That was one of the few things I liked about her

I'm disgusted, but kinda excited. Now I'm disgusted that I'm excited.

The copy of the game I got was a condensed version of the game so it must have unfortunately left that out.

Atwater in effect ended the Nigerian Nightmare's career....thought to be invincible at the time, Stevie squared up on Christian Okoye inside the Denver 10 yard line and knocked him backwards....the myth of invincibility of the Nigerian Nightmare died that night, along with his career in the (N) ot (F) or (L) ong football league

I went to that game too.  Got pulled over and ticketed for doing 2 (yes two) miles over the speed limit just over the State line into Mississippi.
