I'm sure I missed some. Point is that the guy couldn't recruit and Bielema inherited a hell of a mess. A mess of NFL Players.    edit..... DJ Williams was signed by Nutt.

Who's Trumaine Johnson?
Petrino's Safety. I saw him in the pre-season. Did I make an error?

Tramain Thomas?
Yeah. Now I'm not sure I had the right guy. Did Tramain Thomas make the NFL?

You're proud of strange things.  That's not in my top million reasons that I'm proud to be an American.

Where are Robert Petrino's NFL QBs?

His QBs have been nothing more than system QBs who are a product of his garbage NAIA Carroll College offense.

Hence, why they don't do well in the NFL.

So you're saying that the talent he had didn't matter as much as his system?

There are 2 on active rosters in the NFL right now.  See first post in this thread lol.

The garbage offense that got us back into the Top 5 in the country. What a terrible system.

I couldn't care less what BP's guys haven't done in the NFL. I care about what they did as Hogs and they won a hell of a lot more than we're winning now.

Mallet could easily have been an NFL starting QB by now. The reason he isn't starting has nothing to do with his talent.

If Mallett were good enough to be an NFL starting QB, he'd be an NFL starting QB.

Gragg, Wright, and Childs committed to Arkansas months before Petrino was hired, I believe.  Petrino also caught a break that Michigan hired a coach that wanted a running QB, though Mallett obviously had many other options than coming home.  The cornerstone of the passing attack that got us into the Sugar Bowl fell into Petrino's lap.  He was able to add Joe Adams after accepting the job.  Granted, those players may not have had the same success with a lesser offensive coach.
The jawbone of an ass is just as dangerous a weapon today as in Sampson's time.

snoot hoggy hog

Is it who recruited them or who coached them? There is a difference.

Do you know anything about USC's history of QB's.  Think about it.

How many of them did CBB inherit? The ones like Flowers, Philon, and BA flourished under CBB.
