That defense is atrocious! 35-34 missouri state. They have over 350 yards in the first half.

Reminds me of playing the old NCAA football game on rookie setting.

Very sucky D on both teams. Mo just scored a 50 yd TD off a swing pass.

What's sad is the talking heads of main stream media will praise Lock for such an outstanding game when the bulk of his yard have been 4 yard passes that go for 50-60 yards.
Did they get you to trade a walk on part in the war, for a lead role in a cage...?

Cool to see a Rogers Heritage kid get a sack on Misery.  Colby Isbell.

I pray to the football gods we don't find a way to lose to them this year. They are about as terrible as it gets for a school from a major conference.

Will be fun to watch Whaley and Hayden running vs this defense.

Does Mizzpooman show up after they lose?
This is my non-signature signature.

Mo. State's HC was Pinkel's ace DC when they had that string of great defenses, Dave Steckel I think.
Don't be scared, be smart.

That taking away of the TD because of celebration was bogus. Guy almost gets tacled, runs 5 more yards and then dives into endzone.

Nah. Every single transfer can score. The shots will come once the pecking order gets sorted out.

I agree with you, but we've had the benefit of replay and time for consideration. Ref had to make a 50/50 decision to throw the flag. So, I won't fault him too much.

I guess the ref and I must be the only ones who think that was the right call. Mo State partisans excluded, of course.

At one point Missouri had run 8 plays and scored TDs on 3 of them, and were losing.

The rule book is pretty clear.   Its a penalty, the TD comes off the board, whether we like the rule or not.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

What's the score?

Missouri started raining 3s, and Missouri State couldn't keep up in transition.

65-43 Bad Guys.
