Aside from Vandy, I think all of the games winners were pretty much right in line with what everyone expected.

Any thoughts on how today will turn out, and does anyone know where you can listen to the games on the internet.

zebra

Live stats on sec.org, actually about 2 pitches behind live.

Top of Second
Game 5
Florida 1
Alabama 0

HOG02

I've been scanning the live stats, but I would rather work and listen to it throught a radio feed on the internet.  Anybody know where to listen to the games?

Break & Run

Bama has 2 outs in the Top of the 3rd...a pop-up and a grounder to first. Salem is still struggling...he's 0-for in the tourney. He was struck out and ground to 1B

Florida still leads Bama 3-1.
"If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like "Hey, look. He's carrying a soldering iron!" and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, "That's right, it's a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice." Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit them up for a free drink."

The two teams that are left undefeated after today are guaranteed of only having to play a maximum of 5 games total to win the SECT while the other four 1-1 teams know they will have to play 6 games to win the SECT. Winning today is really important.
Hogs must win today to have a shot at the tourney title...particularly if the do not want to use Schmidt again this week.

Yep.  DVH has already said they won't use Schmidt again period.  Would be strange to see us in a championship game throwing Kuechel or Mclelland or somebody like that.

only way we wont see one of them starting the championship game is if we somehow manage to go 3-0.  Its possible if we win today Keuchel may start Saturday, and if we won that one, Welker would start on Sunday.

But winning today isnt guranteed.  We need to quit assuming today is a given just because of who is pitching for us.  South Carolina is a really darn good team. You arent 41-14 for nothing

We will not see Schmidt or Todd again after this game today.  If we lose, we will not see them.  If we win, we will not see them.

The first pitch of this game was around 2:40 right?   This means the tourney is backed up by about 40 minutes.  Don't expect our game with USC to start on time.   There will be an hour break between the end of this game and the beginning of ours.
