Didn't see it posted on here yet. The man has worked his way from Mexico to Mississippi (CBA MVP) to now an opportunity with the Memphis Grizzlies' Development League Affiliate. Way to go Mardracus! Here's to a bright future!

And could rain some treys, good luck to wade!

When he wasn't head-faking. Hopefully that's over with.

Yeah he had really only one great year of threes; which is odd I would hope you get better. Obviously he has been working!

Update: After being waved in Training Camp, Mardracus will be suiting up tonight in his first D-League action against the Maine Red Claws. Signed from the Players Pool yesterday. Good luck, Drake!

Was looking at a box score, and saw he scored 11 tonight. Shooting pretty efficiently from the field, and advanced metrics say he is playing solid d.

He was a hard worker and money from the ft line late in games. Didn't he lead the SEC in 3 pt% one year?

Yeah his SO year he shot like 47% from 3. I always wonder why is playing time constantly declined. Guy was one of the most dedicated workers, best shooters, and a pretty efficient defender.  Instead we'd cotinue to run Gulley, Scott, and Haydar out there.  Loved Kiko's effort and Gulley was a hometown legend, but the Memphis guy had the most talent and better career.

Think Drake stuck with it playing ABA and minor pro ball and continuously showed out, which finally got him his shot in the D league.  There is a guy that I went to highschool with that has gone with the same route and he is working out with NBA trainers in L.A. right now and is anticipating getting signed overseas relatively soon.  Shows if you've got the work ethic and stick with it, it's possible to make money playing this game.
