Damn.. how Chris Smith is only a 3 Star I don't know.  He may be the Crown Jewel of this class.. un-blockable, and can't be kept from getting to who ever has the ball...even when he has 3 people blocking him.

Rivals need to re-evaluate... but do it after Jan 3rd and his LOI is signed an on hand in Fayetteville.. Don't want any of the ACC or Florida Schools to even look his way till then.

According to smith in the latest interview someone posted, he said arkansas came to offer him first, and showed him the most love, and he is extremely solid even with all the extra attention.

Sidenote on the Darrell Smith video... apparently the "DS" in the recruiting video is not the one that is committed to Arkansas.  That "DS" is a little on the short side and runs wildy with his arms swinging.  Its confusing, I know, but apparently there are two of them, and ESPN put the wrong one on.

Yes, the Darrell Smith video is not actually our Darrell Smith.  The one that is committed to us is #6 and his school colors are purple and gold.

In place of video of Darrell Smith, I'll contribute some tidbits I was able to find:

He returned two kickoffs for 95 and 96 yards in one game, and also got 2 sacks and some other big defensive plays at the line of scrimmage.

He is a two-sport athlete and I've seen a picture of him dunking, so he's a very good athlete.

He was named to the Florida 1A all-state defensive 2nd team at LB.  He is 6'2", 185 lbs so he may project to safety instead of LB.  If he can return kickoffs for touchdowns, he's probably got the speed for safety.

UPDATE: I have just added recently our newest commit, 3* 5-10 170Lbs 4.4 DB Joseph Byrd out of Cape Coral Florida- to the video list. I apologize for being late on this as I have just returned from out of town.

Also, I have updated/replaced the video on jacoby walker with better footage.

Please welcome our newest commits Julian Horton and Deonte Welch. Horton's Video has been posted and I will post one for welch if it becomes available. Both players run a 4.5 - 40 according to rivals.

NOTE: Richard Davenport posted on his website that arkansas has not yet accepted Joseph Byrd's commitment, and has not heard otherwise. I hope we do -- his film is electric.

If anyone finds any film for commitments please post it and i will put it up ASAP

I just watched the Brad Hefley video again.  All i have to say is WOW.  You better not be just standing around while he's on the field or he'll drop your a$$!  I love that aggressivness and his size and speed.  He doesn't have to be the fastest guy, just catch the ball, get upfield for positive yards, and if you need to lay the wood on someone by all means go ahead.  I'm anxious to see him in our uni cracking people!

Hoover had a lot of footage of the team, so had to wade through each to see if Humphrey had any highlights.  Was impressed with the level of competition.  If Hoover had less weapons, believe he would have been given more opportunity to showcase his skills.  Started to pull the Spain Park videos for J Jackson but ran out of energy.

You got that right. In that first vid, he was stopped a couple times...and one of those is when he ran out of bounds. I'm not sure I'd call this guy a DB just yet.
