If you had ever had a loved one or close friend have their life taken away or crippled for life by a drunk driver or someone texting and driving, you wouldn't feel that way.  Folks have been killed by someone driving at .08.

Don't misunderstand what I'm about to type as excusing TBs behavior. 

Lots of folks have been killed by people completely stone sober and not texting.  Fact is, you can be .041 and not know it or you could be .03 and stupid.

What he did was wrong and the justice system will have the pound of flesh that we have demanded.  It is up to us to decide if we are going to be satisfied with what we have asked for or continue to beat the guy because we have some need to carry a grudge or meet out our own brand of justice.
