Hawkins: this guy is an absolute speed demon, but has barely seen the field in his time here. If he can learn to run routes and catch the ball he could come out of nowhere and be a player.

JoJo Robinson: Appears to be more of a football player than a track speed guy like Hawkins who redshirted and can provide an explosive component to our offense.

CJ O'Grady: He is a receiving nightmare. He is our fastest and most agile TE player who also has extremely soft hands. He could be a strong redshirt candidate to get bigger and work on blocking, though. Granted, Henry out of HS was a receiving specialist out of HS, and really, really impressed with his blocking ability as a true freshman.

Brian Wallace: Everubody offered him, he has good size, and based on coaches comments appears to be one of our more athletic linemen.

Deatrich Wise Jr: He reminds me at lot of Flowers in his early years. Too explosive for his own good. He is our most explosive returning DE, but was hampered by injury last year as well as sometimes exploding right past the play.

TJ. Smith. Hopefully he can redshirt, but man, watching his HS tape he is INCREDIBLY explosive especially given he already weighs 280. Like, he is at least as quick as Philon and already bigger and stronger. Of course, that is at most half of the equation, but if he can adapt quickly, he could be very hard to redshirt.

Josh Williams: he has similar if not better athleticism than Spaight. However, it seems he is further behind where Spaight was when both of them first came here. Williams now has a year under Smith and the SEC. Plus we will need two people to step up at LB this year to replace the open spots (we only have one returning starter...).

Any of the 2014 lb'ers. Personally I don't see the love for Ramsey and think Eugene or Hackett to be the ones to watch.

Coley/Lidell. Both are very athletic safeties. Coley is a bit more of a headhunter safety and Liddell more of a coverage safety. Still, it could be that both are starting by season's end.

I think Ellis will shine this year on defense.

Jamario Bell seems to be the most physically ready of all the incoming freshman.  That kid looks like Julius Peppers when he played for Carolina.  18 year old boys that are that tall aren't suppose to be that thick.

I am hoping it is Josh Williams.

Also, I hope that JoJo is all world, but I am not sure why so many people are expecting so much out of him at this point.  None of us have seen him play in anything other than practice (or high school highlights), and the coaches chose to redshirt him and play Cornelious (sp?).  Maybe he was hurt and I don't remember.  And I am not bashing him.  I truly hope he is great, but the hype seems a little Kane Whitehurst/Vin Ascole (sp?).

He was beat up early on. Nothing serious but enough to keep him out the first couple games. After that, it made no sense to play him. Also I think they wanted him to get a little bigger

IBleedRazorbackRed

Reed, JoJo, Wallace, froholdt, santos Ramirez, hedlund, and Blake Johnson are all guys that either redshirted or just arrived that I expect to play meaningful snaps

Carl Lazlo

Ramsey is a athletic LB that has a nose for the football.  I can see why people are high on him.

Mitch Leuwen (however ya spell it),  if he has another year left,  I think he'll be someone we're talking about in the fall.

He's already been playing/starting for 2 years. Not sure how much more he can break out.

He's only listed at 225 pounds, and he's 6'6. And that's from the signing day coverage which had TJ Smith at 280 while the recruiting sites only listed him in the 250's. Not saying he can't be a great one, but he looks like the definition of a kid who needs a RS year to bulk up at DE.

Hunter Henry will carry this team next year just like he did in the receiving department for  most of the SEC schedule. He's been doing it for two years and I don't see next year being any different.

I think JaMichael Winston could have a big year in 2015.

I think things are setting up perfectly for Bijhon Jackson to have a breakout year, similar to how Philon did this year.

Would really like to see Reed explode onto the scene.  Think he would help our offense more than anything if he is as good as some think.  His ability to stretch the field could really open up our offense.  Would like to see a couple of deep TD's from him.

On D, I like Jackson on the DL

Khalia Hackett
Anybody know what position he will play? Thought he was a LB but I saw him play some snaps at DE I think against UAB. Kid looks like a beast on special teams

Wise would've had a breakout year this year but he was hurt the whole year

I would suggest that while we all tend to speculate and project on here as fans, we may know some, but not all, by the end of Spring. Who has gained weight? Who has progressed physically, learning the scheme, executing the scheme, studying the opponent through film study?

Who is learning faster and converting that to production on the field? We can speculate all that we want but at this time last year, while we had hopes, no one knew that Spaight was going to emerge at the level that he played at this past season and I am not even sure if anyone was totally clued into that after Spring practice last year.

I suspect that we will see some that we expect to rise to the top actually do so, some that we expect to, not so much, and yet others that come somewhat out of nowhere, end up being significant producers and contributors.

Post Spring may tell some of the tale, but the whole story won't be told until next August. It is painful waiting for truth to come out, isn't it? ;)

I'll go with Henre Tolliver. If we forget he's on the field, it'll mean he's doing a great job in the secondary. I don't want DBs having to help all the time against the run like in the Nutt days. We need another David Barrett level CB and HT just might be the guy.

This is my pick, too, and for the same reason. His frame is ready for bulking up, and he has Carlos Hall athleticism. If he can get his weight up to about 250-265 lbs, then I think he can present major issues for opposing teams. Though, we have some other really good-looking commitments: CJ O'Grady, Will Gragg, Austin Cantrell, DReed, DoubleDean, KJack, Fro (Merrick), and Froholdt. I really like this class altogether.

Notice he says your boy instead of "our coach". Very telling.

I'm not worried. If he recruits like he did here Louisville will fire him in about 5 years.

Yahoo Sports has him listed at 250 lbs also, but all the others said 225 lbs. If he's there already, that's incredible!!!

He looks every bit of it on the bball court. That's why he was my pick.

The newcomer with the most potential to influence games being won or lost is Cole Hedlund.

Paul

Looking for all the Louisiana guys to step up

Lake City Hog

I look for a Senior player to have THE breakout season---Mitch Loewen at defensive end. I think that it will be nearly impossible to keep him off the field.

Underclassman-- Liddell at safety. I think Gaines will have to work his butt off to hold his spot. This kid can play.

Newcomer--- I hate to pin much hope on a Juco guy in year 1, but Reed has the tools to make a real impact.

Darkhorse candidate--- Reeve Koehler

Brandon Allen!

I look for Coach Enos to fix the little things that has plagued him the last two years.  It's was, in my opinion, those few things that cost us two to three games last season.  Now, some of that will also be the play calling, but it will all add up to a stellar year for BA.

Agree with this.  Wallace was the first nationwide stud to Arkansas on the OL that we were able to RS.  He's ready to be a force this year after a year in the WRoom!

I love off season Football!!

I'm really excited to see what Duwop can do with an OC that knows how to use him. I think he can be versatile in the offense and line up at different positions. He could be a deep threat we haven't had in a few years.

HF#1

If we want to win more than 8 games or so, it has to be Jojo, Jared, or Kendrick...  We have to have a big play guy.  Also need BA to throw it well.

T Beaman probably won't be able to contribute

JoJo Robinson and D Reed on offense. Veteran O-Line, Strong running game and Sr QB, should be some opportunities down field.

T Beanum, I know today is not a great day for him, but I think he has a big bounce back, and his size and speed is scary good.

H Tolliver, lots of talent

PorkRinds

I think JoJo and Cornelius will have breakout seasons.  I also think our secondary could have some serious improvement too.

The kid was hurt for at least the first five games, got better then tweaked his ankle.  He could have played the last three but why at that point?  He will be a game changer.  Redshirt Freshman are the best kind, Jared was a early enroll kid and was almost ready but he had to play, better as a Freshmen than what we had.

Nope, did not, he didn't care and it showed didn't it?  If he cared he would have done the right things.
