Blanchard should have a big year. I am stoked about him and Skinner. They will both be very good players for the hogs for several years.

Do you happen to have any rapping skills? I think we could set you up with DJ Khaled and you could make a song entitled, "All I Do Is Bitch"

mmhogs17

Yep. Blanchard added some good weight so he should be alot more durable.

Also, the Fayetteville-Pulaski game should be a doozy.

Its amazing having 4 razorback commits in one game on 8/20.. Can't wait to see how that one plays out.

Marcus Robinson opens up his season tonight at Southwind

mmhogs17

Robinson had a very productive game in a loss.

mmhogs17

According to a teammate, Robinson also broke his leg last night.

Tyler Cogswell had an efficient game, while it was pouring down most of the time. His team goes to 1-0 on the season.

Marcus Robinson was out, as his team drops to 0-2.

Anyone know much about the offense that Tyler's HS runs? I've read before without explanation that it wasn't suited to his talents. I'm guessing given his number of throws that he is a pure drop back QB in a run oriented offense. I don't know if it is because the coach doesn't like a passing attack or if they lack the personnel or whatever, but Tyler never throws that much. And four drops in his last game!

This section will really take off this Friday. I'm ready for the football season to start, even if I'm not ready for summer to end.

The Fayetteville three and Khari Harding kick off their seasons tonight. Brignoni is a game time decision though with a bad hammy.

mmhogs17

Austin Allen and co. having a tough night out there. Big boys from Memphis U getting after them. Brignoni was also out.

42-20 Final.

mmhogs17

Khari Harding' team also won in a major shootout.

mmhogs17

I don't have any official stats yet, but Austin Allen went for 6TD's, but lost.

RD tweeted that he was 21 of 35 for 379 yards and 6 TDs. Not bad in a loss. Losing hurts thought since we have two commits on their defense, though I guess Alex Brignoni did not play. Haven't heard what it is, but I believe he has reaggravated an older injury. Hope he'll be OK.

Austin Allen killing it vs Muskogee. 14-18, 300+ and 5 TD's at half

mmhogs17

Newest commit, Lamar Jordan is tearing it up tonight. 5 TD's so far.

mmhogs17

Tyler Cogswell with another efficient night.

mrtennis

Brignoni played 1st half against Muskogee. He and Allen sat out 2nd half - mercy rule.

Thanks. KFSM said Brignoni sat out again.

I watched Kaleb's game against #1 Rummel Friday night.  They actually came close to pulling that one out until Rummel iced it late.  Denham Springs doesn't seem to have many weapons beyond Kaleb.  The passing game was pitiful and the #2 RB is out with an injury.  So teams will focus more on shutting him down.  However, he will be facing lesser competition in the coming weeks so he's got that going for him.  I just hope he can survive the pounding.

mmhogs17

Yea, I listened to the game vs Catholic a couple weeks ago, Denham was rotating 3 different QB's and stuff.

mmhogs17

Mods, you can take this thread down. All the players being dropped and what not has made this thread impossible to update. lol

LAHOG1962

Blanchard did not play against West Monroe , which would have been his final high school game.Word was that he missed 2 practices that week and coach would not let him play.
