Fire them all.... I'd say burn it down but Jaba the Bert has done much worse than that. I'm pretty sure when Chuck said firing Nutt would set us back 10 years he was seeing the future of Bert ball.

This team is terrible in every phase of the game.  I never want to see a CEO style coach walk the hogs sideline again.

Every week that passes we don't fire him, we fall further into mediocrity.

This team has enough talent to win 7-8 games and they won't sniff a bowl game with this moron.  4 million a year for this S##t show? End it now

lol Bert being a "CEO-style" coach is not the issue.  That's a euphemism you hear so you don't wonder what the hell he gets paid 4 million dollars for.

I'm not trying to be insensitive here, but I'm glad that Coach Broyles is no longer with us to watch this disaster unfold. That man would be breathing fire right now if he were still alive. Shameful and disgusting are the only words to describe what we're seeing  today.

Our student athletes are in real danger. Our inept coach is going to get someone permanently injured. These players may need to strike to protect their health!

Got players running into each other causing fumbles, players faking injuries while the other team scores a touchdown, so many missed assignments can't even count them, and penalties on just about every offensive series...tough to watch.  The players do deserve better...they are limited in talent...but they do deserve better.

It is not THE issue, I totally agree with that.  However, I still don't want a CEO for our next coach.
Bert has mailed it in the last 2 years if not longer. I know first hand he does very little coaching on a daily basis.  That's why he always has a confused look on the sidelines. He has no idea WTH is going on with this team.

I'm also sick of hearing we don't have the talent to hang with these teams. News flash, the SEC is down this year. We have recruited as good or better than the previous two coaches yet now we don't have the horses??? How is it that Petrino and Nutt were able to have success with similarly ranked classes?

Because Petrino knew what he was doing. Heck, Nutt -- that awful, awful, Nutt -- is a better coach than Bielema.

Colleges that want to attract talent hire coaches good enough to be competitive with the talent they have. Those teams then realize some success and recruiting gets easier. Good coaches understand that.

I joined Hogville on Nov 27, 2007.
I am an ASU grad and have been a Hog fan my hole life -- Not a Red Wolf fan or supporter.

Until the dumpster fire that is Long, Bielema, and Mike Anderson is extinguished in F'ville - I will not support the U of A -- all 3 must go.  Most of my friends and I are donors - many have season tickets....  We all feel this way!!

BOT -- please take out the trash and give us a team we can be proud of.

This was much worse than the Alabama loss. Another freakin game where we made no noticeable second half adjustments.

Why would expect any adjustments?

He's been here for 58 games and I don't remember him ever adjusting to anything.

Yup I remember Chuck saying that on sports rap like it was yesterday.  Low and behold he knew what he was talking about.  Scary part is if get it wrong again, then we are in for another 5 plus years of this. On paper CBB was a good hire at the time.  I didn't have any doubts he could at least compete around 7 or 8 wins a year like Nutt did.  It's very possible this could drag on 20 years with any hire, just couple winning seasons sprinkled in.

We are well below the point of mediocrity. I don't think we are falling any more. We are at rock bottom.

How was he a good hire on paper at the time? I have seen people say this before but its just ridiculous. And don't say he went to 3 Rose Bowls, he did not win any of them and did not Coach in the last one. He was not and never was a home run hire no matter how much kool aid people drank when he was hired. I remember the day they announce the hire, I was like WHO?
