Here are our 10 worst seasons for total points allowed (yes I know some had more games than others).  This seems to show a little trend.

Through 3 games in 2005 we've given up 115.  8 games left including against Georgia and LSU.  I'm fairly sure this year is destined to be on this list, probably #2, but maybe #1.

1990 - 360
2003 - 305
2000 - 289
1997 - 284
1995 - 283
1952 - 282
2001 - 279
2002 - 277
2004 - 270
1996 - 267

No one else finds it interesting that 5 of the top 10 have come in the last 5 years?

It's not only interesting, but also very telling.
Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.

Yeah and 2 oe 3 of those years had talent. Miller, Bua, Carrol, Richardson, Caver, Huckabee, Dixon some decent NFL players in there and we had the best running game in the SEC which means they weren't left on the field all game!

Last night was like a funeral.  It was really depressing during the ceremony, but once they buried us my sad state of mind diminished.  It felt like the relief of burying a sick family member that needed to die months ago.

I don't know the stats exactly, but is our defense on pace to be the worst ever at Arkansas!

At Alabama, give up 42

ULM.. hold them to 7

Auburn, give up 31

At Georgia, give up 49

S. Carolina, give up 28

At Ole Miss, give up 14

Miss St., give up 14

At LSU, give up 56

So right now I say we just miss the record, giving up only 241 points in our remaining 8 games and finishing at 356 points on the year.  I'm picking us to beat ULM, Miss and Miss St. and maybe SC.  It could get worse though...  Passing attacks can have their way with us.

That list should be used as support when making calls to the athletic department while demanding Nutt be fired.

That's one of the most sobering things I've seen lately. Things haven't been to good over the past few years, have they?

To be completely fair though, offenses have been changing for most programs around the country (although we still seem to be stuck with the old 2 rushes for every pass instead of the balanced pro style offense).  Notice that 8 of those came in the SEC.  I think we really need to get a coach who can run a pro-style offense with a balanced attack.  It would attract more talent to the program simply because they can apply it to the NFL better.
