Butch Davis????

I'm new on Hogville, but I have to ask what makes everyone so sure Butch Davis will take over if Nutt gets the boot?

Everyone is not sure.
Neither Butch or any other coach can take over if HDN still has the job.
As of last week there was no indication that Nutt would be replaced at the end of the season.
JFB can change his mind in a nanosecond so I can't speak to his thought process today.
From what I understand EVEN IF the job were offered to Butch it would take one hell of a sales job to get him to take it.
After last night he might run from the task of trying to resurect this football program..
So no, everyone is not sure that Butch "will take over if Nutt gets the boot."
