Everyone is quick to be critical, but who would YOU have put in place?  Promote an assistant with NO HC experience, and enough on their plate already?  Bring in someone else from yester-year as a overseer, who has no knowledge of the system? 

While it's easy to say JLS was a bad choice, I've yet to hear anyone suggest a better solution.  In fact, I don't recall anyone else suggesting anything better or different when it all went down in April. 

If you fire JLS tomorrow, who do you put at HC?
