Saban has run it up plenty on us in the past.

No one is saying that this was anything but a blowout loss... but it felt like a different team than what showed up vs USC.

We played a different OLine lneup—How did that happen? 

CBB showed emotion on the sideline and appeared to be coaching.

Maybe, now that we've appeared to break the ice, we can move Ragnow to LT where he might be even more effective?

Saban was too busy chewing on special teams' collective asses to even worry about a 17-0 game at one point. So what if he DIDN'T run the score up, you're admitting he could've. How many people thought at the beginning of the season that Bama would be a W for us?  Very few, if any.  How many though yesterday at 4pm that we would honestly go into BDS and come out with a W?  Nobody realistically thought that.

Not sure why it seems a sin arnd here to say anything positive at all. 

We suck, but yesterday we sucked a little less than we sucked the week before.

Saban doesn't run up the score, he could have won by 40+ if he wanted. Saban will substitute liberally once he knows he has you firmly under foot. Now he is still going to demand those second and third teamers play hard, and if you can't compete against them, it is on you.

Last night I was watching the game while at a 'social function' so wasn't 100% engaged. Though kinda removed, 2 things stood out—Kelley indeed is a physical specimen, who can be a player, but didn't look good last night. Too many times I kept thinking "don't we practice?" We just looked dysfunctional, too many passes weren't close. I've got the game recorded, I'll watch it for real.

The other thing I felt, Nick Saban could have done anything he wanted last night. It may not have been totally obvious he was riding the brakes—or toying with us like a cat and a cricket—but I sensed a very controlled game by their O. Maybe they were just trying some things, or letting Hurts pass just enough to keep him warm. Not sure.

The most positive thing I can say—and this is all relative—losing 41-9 to Alabama (on paper) wasn't as bad as 48-22 to South Carolina or 28-7 to TCU. That's become the scale—not which is "best," but which is "less worst."

We will not beat Mizzu , they will score too easy and we won't. They put up 28 on UGA ( beat D in the country) who I personally think will run the table and beat Bama in the SECCG and win the playoff. Not sure we win another game but Coastal. We have plenty of talent but absolutely have an incompetent HC and OL coach just ask CK this morning he's feeling it. HC won't let his OC or DC do the job they were hired to do. We see glimpses of it from time to time and then he gets involved and we go conservative and back off again. Truly sad that we're in this situation again JLS 2.0. Without the smile.

Georgia doesn't have a good enough of an offense to score enough against Alabama.

Clemson is still the only team in the nation who has the required elite athletes and the required elite coaching to be successful against Alabama.

Don't let the loss to Syracuse be misleading.  Clemson will probably be more focused and should be firing on all cylinders the rest of the season.

A loss every now-and-then is good for a team who wins a lot.  Complacency can set in when winning a lot, and doubtful now that Clemson will have any complacency the rest of the season.

1. Against the number one tesm in the country
2. After they slept walked last week and Saban tore them a new one for it, so they were in buzz-saw mode.
3. On THEIR field.
4. Behind a Hog Oline that would have trouble blocking a high school team.
5. With only eight or nine plays to choose from and the Tide knows them better than Enos does.
6. Being blitzed every down.

And he never wavered. Never wilted. Was energetic and pushing his team on every play, when every fan in the country knew it was hopeless.

He checked down receivers. Worked his pocket pretty well. Shrugged off hits.

And never whined once.

He's a keeper.
