I don't want you to agree with me because you're weak. I want you to agree with me because you know I'm right.

I think John has too much endorsement money coming in these days.
As long as he's got that to fall back on, I don't think he'll have the hunger to grind it out for 72 holes to win.
He seems to play his best when he's hurting financially.

If he is, it's likely to pay off a loan.  I've a feeling that he's in deep over in Vegas.

Let those of you without sin cast the first stone.  John is a normal human being fighting his demons, who just happened to win a couple of majors.  I think what he does for the state and for charities is going to win him a couple fo jewels for his crown.

Every time I see Daly, I'm reminded of that line from Animal House ... "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life."

+1.  I've also wondered why the local sports shows keep showing clips of Daly at 6 and 10 even when he's not a factor.  Daly is no role model.  Let him fade away, please.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

There is nothing wrong with the Hogs, that cannot be cured by what is right with the Hogs!

To see all that Daly has worked through and still accomplish what he has /salute. (more then most golfs ever will) I Think we all make mistakes but few of our mistakes are maginfied, debated, and flashed around the media world wide.  Guts is word that comes to mind when I think of Big John.  To have all those problems and issues under the spotlight he was/is in and keep comeing back and not fade'in away or breaking....Guts

Big John for Gov!!! :razorback:

The best thing to happen to RRS is the moron will never bunny hop thru the tunnel again !

Why do rednecks call antlers horns? Are the deer woods really different than the Turkey woods? How much is a " Mess" of Crappie?

I read his book and I think hes a helluva golfer that's been through a lot of s**t. He takes a gentlemans' driven sport and puts a good ole country boy from Arkansas in the mix and succeeds. To stay on the tour and still win a few here and there is an accomplishment these days. He used to outdrive anyone on the tour now he'll be lucky to make the top 25 with all these young guys and the new 460cc drivers they are coming out with these days.  :razorback:

John is going to be John he is not going to kiss anyones arse and he is not going to be the perfect golfer like some people want.  He must be doing something right because he is one of the most popular golfers on tour.  He also takes his winnings which usually top 1 million every year and pay his taxes with that.  He must be making a crap load of money.

You can love him or hate him.....

As for me....I will forever love his down-to-earth, no frills, John Daly........Sophistication and John Daly go together like 7-up....Never had it, Never will.

+1 for you, not because I love Johnson, but because it is a funny thing to say.

You are no better than anyone, you are just as good but no better, be HUMBLE and you will see the difference in relationships. He who can be carefree yet mindful at the same time, has found the secret of living in enlightened PEACE.

I know he does a ton for local charities, but he's wasted so much potential it's a crime.

.....as opposed to the folks that realize their talent and do nothing for charity..........I'd think one is more admirable than the other.

.....don't mean to bust chops......just posting.
