No, it it Division 1 of the ACHA which is club hockey.   NCAA Hockey is D-I and D-III for both men and women.  Athletic scholarships are available at D-I (except for Ivy League) but not D-III.  I think the scholarship limit is 18 so there are quite a few partials.  Take a look at this link for the NCAA programs:

Do you know if the Ice Hogs are playing in the Regional games in Bensonville, Illinois on February 20th and 21st?  I thought that I read somewhere if a team is 1st or 2nd in their Regional they do not have to play in the Regional playoffs.  I am hoping that they do play, I would like to take my boys to see some Razorback Hockey!

if we keep running the table in div I club hockey it certainly couldnt hurt. We would have our pick of all the recruits in this region of the country

It really is not a natural progression.  Most NCAA D-III programs are in the Northeast and upper Midwest (Wisconsin) and the cost of travel would be prohibitive.  Also, the good teams in D-III are drawing talent from junior hockey leagues (up to age 20) and prep schools with elite programs.  Hockey is a very exciting sport to watch and the key is having competitive contests.  The Hogs will likely have their hands full with ACHA Division 1 but that's what you want.  A one goal nail biter is a great experience for the fan at whatever level the teams are playing.

In the closest balloting for seeding into the National Tournament, the Razorbacks locked down the #2 seed by one vote. This means, the Ice Hogs will not have to qualify through the Regional Tournament, but go straight to the Nationals!

The National Tournament begins on March 10th and runs through March 14th. The Tournament will be held in Pelham, Alabama.
