Someone should ask Luke if that's the production from the TE position that Bama promised him..... I think the TE caught one pass, hopefully he doesn't fall for that BS

SoonerSooie

I was wondering just after the game how many passes our TEs caught. I know one for the TD and at least may a couple of other passes? I was thinking of Ford as I pondered this wondering what he thought-- if he watched.

I'm sure he watched, and I'm certain he noticed...

It's truly Bama and us, unless something changes.

Baba leads, became Ford gets starry-eyed.  But a big season by our TE's could still swing it.

At least two Ogrady and Cantrell

Cantrell had 2 for 16,
Gunter had 1 for 29
O'Grady had 2 for 17 and a score
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

That's certainly a number you'd like Ford to consider. I hope we continue to utilize our TEs effectively. All too often last year they had to block instead of being able to catch passes.

our TE's didn't have a fantastic day but we also have recent history of TE production to fall back on. Bama is telling this young man that they are going to use the TE more with their new coordinator and that he's the next Gronk....... I just hope he realizes that actions speak louder than words..... we will see I guess, hopefully he doesn't fall for it

Bubba's Bruisers

It's also Saban and Bama.  That's hard to turn down no matter what position you play.  Totally understandable that a kid would listen closely to them.  And it's not like OJ Howard isn't credible proof for Bama.  And all those championships too.

I thought BB said Gunter was going to redshirt this year?

He is.

O'Grady 2/17 yards
Cantrell 2/16 yards

Gunter is Redshirting. He wasn't on the field so I'm not sure how he caught a pass.

It was listed on his stats on the ESPN page, by position.

A top 11 this late in the process tells me he's really enjoying the attention.  I'm sure it's quite fun.

If Ford is good enough and NFL teams think he has the size and potential, he doesn't have to have gaudy stats.

I know this cat has a strange sense of humor; but ,if he's farking Nick Saban and been committed to the Hog's the whole time, he should stop...

Why? Saban has screwed over and wasted kids time in the past.
If there's one thing any of you should know as hog fans, brace yourself for disappointment and never get your hopes up.

What a friggin joke.
This is what happens when recruiting services, websites, coaches, and parents treat teenage boys like they are celebrities.

I would disagree. You cut the list to a manageable number and then cut from there instead of communicating with 20-30 schools.

I think we'll utilize the TE's more this Sat...we'll need to

Well, we're in a brave new world, much of which I don't particularly care for, but nobody asked me.

Maybe the kid is a celebrity. Apparently thousands of adults in a number of states wait with bated breath, anxious to learn of his inclination as to where he plays collegiate football.

We all clicked on this thread, indicating at least some interest in this young man's future.

Someone showed me a music video on YouTube recently that had had over a BILLION views.  There were some very attractive ladies in it, but a Billion?

Brave new world. And it definitely is passing a lot of folks by, especially us old dudes.

We'll know more when we find out who gets an official
