Dievendorf got the ball and was fouled and they called him for the foul. Pathetic call.

missippihog

But they both contacted each other going for the ball. No call at best

Unbelievable the shots Syracuse is settling for at the end of the OTs. Drive the ball to the basket and try to get fouled or lay it up.

The experts on here have told us the refs cannot possible influnce a game....

Table Rocker

can you imagine an SEC going 3OT's? it'd be 3 on 2 right now, everyone else would be fouled out.

Did you not see Dorf knock a Uconn guy down and not get a call? I think both teams are getting some gifts.

It was bad enough watching us play all year...

Then to watch teams of this caliber -- it's really sad.

HOGSWEAT

4 OT's and they're still not through.

Wow, this game is one that will be talked about throughout the future years when the Big East tourney is broadcast.

I won't say it has been the most cleanly called games I've ever seen, but it is definitely not the worst.

I am a huge Syracuse fan. This is the most nervous I have been during a game in a while.

We have had so many chances to win this game but have choked. Great game regardless of who wins. This should improve Syracuse's stock even if they lose. At least hold where it is.

might benefit them to lose so they can get their legs back for the real tourney.

6th overtime.

For perspective, once this OT ends, they will have played 1.75 games worth of time.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

josh_sec33

6 OT's? Good lord. This game will not end.

On a scale of "DGB is a Hog" to "Bobby had a girl on the back of that bike," how sure are you?

I was at 7 at orignal post now at 10.  It's a mix between bud light and coors genuine.

did you ever play7 the game....I did and I played in games where the refs decided the outcome....all it takes is a couple of touch fouls on a star player and he is done for.....tell that wouldn't decide the outcome...

One of the best games I have ever seen in my 25+ years of watching Syracuse basketball.  This years' club showed their heart by not caving as many, many, many of Boeheim's previous teams would have.  40 of 51 free throws?  Unbelievable.  Usually 60% is a pleasant surprise.  The only knock I would have had on this game is that is should have been for the championship and not a game to get into the semi's, but it was an awesome game.  Well worth staying up till 1:30 eastern.
