Remember, too, that Calipari didn't build Memphis into a title contender full of blue chips over night. He's in his 10th season. Richardson had a tough rebulding job when he arrived at Arkansas, needed his third year to make the NCAA and his fourth year to win a game in it before putting Arkansas in the top 10. Sutton's arrival at Arkansas in the 1970s coincided with the great Triplets and he reached the Final Four in his fourth season, but never got past the Sweet 16 in the next seven.
