Does Coach Smith have a non-compete clause in his contract? LSU was after him last year, and Orgeron just fired his WR coach (day after signing day).

Would have to go to LSU as a coordinator.

I think.

I hope.

I would think he'd want to enjoy this crop of WR he has brought to campus.
I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. Yes, he would have to take the OC job, and they just hired Matt Canada for about a bazillion dollars for that position.

Pretty sure he got a noncompete.

And his family loves it here, as does he.

Indeed, Michael Smith has a no-compete clause for SEC teams included in his latest contract update of Feb. '16

LSU just fired new WR coach Demayune Craig after one season.
Don't be scared, be smart.

HOGINTENNESSEE

I would imagine George McDonald and Zack Azzanni are candidate there having work with Canada in the past

This doesn't line up with what I've heard.

Craig has a great rep as a recruiter and is work at Fl State was considered very good.

Didn't get along with Gus. But really who does

Talk about lazy reporting- candidates to replace Craig at LSU

#1 that isn't a picture of D.Craig, but of Frank Wilson the head coach at UTSA

#2 "If LSU and Curtis Johnson aren't a match"  That was from a year ago, Johnson was hired on Wednesday by the New Orleans Saints, something you would think a New Orleans paper would know.

#3 Michael Smith's info was from a year ago, when LSU hire Juluke instead.

#4 The picture of Memphis's David Johnson who is the guy the radio is reporting will be the hired, is of a Tulane Coach.
