You know, i was listening to the 1st game tuesday and they were talking about how we wouldnt see any home runs because of the "heavy air" in Hawaii.... guess Hamblin is proving them wrong !!!

A baseball will actually travel farther in warm, humid air than in dry air at or near sea level.  Once you go up in elevation, like Denver, the ball flys regardless.  Reason being that the water droplets in the air help keep the ball elevated longer and allow it to go farther.

I don't know what this format is.  I really wanted another crack at U-Dub even if we couldn't actually WIN the tournament.  Instead, we play these guys again.  And again.
