Interesting turn of events following this claiming race.

The second and third finishers were dq'd for bothering the fourth finisher. But the second finisher also bothered the third finisher, so the stewards restored the third finisher to his original finish position, only now he was behind the fourth finisher and ahead of the second finisher. Apparently, the jock of the fourth finisher shot for the moon and also claimed against the winner to no avail.

The chart footnotes are a good read (pasted in below), where it says that the winner had fouls happening all around him and he just shrugged it off.

REDNECK COWBOY went three wide around the first turn and was allowed to settle off the pace, went five wide into the stretch with a rally but had to alter course at the sixteenth pole when there were fouls happening around him, shrugged it off, continued on and won driving. COUZIER was quick into stride and skipped clear from the start and held that lead into the stretch, dug in but ducked out suddenly at the sixteenth pole then was all out through the finish. KOPPER WIRED tracked the pace while going three wide, bumped with C THE KING at the three sixteenths pole but continued on, but had to be taken up sharply and clipped heels at the sixteenth pole when COUZIER suddenly ducked out then ran out of time. C THE KING was allowed to settle off the pace while going two wide around the turns, swung four wide into the stretch but got squeezed by KOPPER WIRED at the three sixteenths pole, started to get running again but had to angle out at the eighth pole and lost all his momentum. MISSED HIM sat well rated off the pace while towards the inside then ran all out through the finish. SIDEWALK PROPHET chased the pace going two wide around the turns then lacked the needed rally. FRIO FACTOR bobbled at the start then trailed the field, showed brief speed from about the half mile pole through the three eighths pole but flattened out. THERE WERE MULTIPLE CLAIMS OF FOUL AND AN INQUIRY IN THE STRETCH. THE RIDER OF C THE KING CLAIMED A FOUL AGAINST REDNECK COWBOY FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH, WHICH WAS DISALLOWED. THE RIDER OF C THE KING ALSO CLAIMED AGAINST KOPPER WIRED AT THE SAME SPOT AND THAT WAS ALLOWED. THEN THE RIDER OF KOPPER WIRED CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST COUZIER FOR INTERFERENCE NEAR THE SIXTEENTH POLE WHICH WAS ALLOWED. KOPPER WIRED PLACED BEHIND C THE KING, THEN COUZIER PLACED BEHIND KOPPER WIRED.
