There is no easily winnable with this team.

Yea, every game is counted as a nail-biter with this team.

Even App. State :(

Easily winnable. Neither team is very good.
Should make for a couple of good pillow fights because we arent very good either.  We can't shoot FT's and have one of the worst defenses in the country.

kwikkar

I don't get it we play Hogball in the second half and go up by four.
Then we go to a half court offense and  quit pushing the ball and
playing pressure defense and watch the game slip away.
I just don't get it?

A easily winnable road game for this team? lmao.

Take your blinders off. We won't win at Rupp, and I don't like our chances at Bama, they're playin pretty good ball now.

Some people get a bit delusional after a loss.  Don't take it so hard, let me spell it out to you- STARKVILLE.
"Too many people have for too long placed too much confidence and trust in government and not enough in themselves.  Fortunately, many are now becoming aware of the seriousness of the gross mistakes of the past several decades.  The blame is shared by both political parties.  Many Americans now are demanding to hear the plain truth of things and want the demagoguing to stop.  Without this first step, solutions are impossible."  Ron Paul

What do you guys think of our home game chances?

I like them since we beat LSU and Auburn on the road...

Vanderbilt game will be the difference between 9-7 and 8-8.  might also be the game that gets us in or out of March Madness.

For some reason, Starkville=Lubbock from SWC days.

LOL what are you smoking?  bama is horrible.  we beat them there last year, remember?  got a 25 pt lead on them.  won 4 straight against them (would have been 5 if not for steele's "fouled on a 3" trick)

Breems

With butter?

Everyone says wait til next year but im a bit nervous about it too, hope im wrong.

Of course I mean that Kentucky and Alabama are easily capable of losing at home.

Considering that App. State has a reasonable chance at a tournament bid, yes-- they're leading their conference division, though they do have to contend with a very good Davidson squad in the Southern Conference tournament;   at worst, they'll be NIT bound, while Alabama will have to be fortunate to get an NIT bid, needing to win 5 of 6 SEC games to get to .500 in conference play.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

No kidding. Things are never as good nor as bad as they seem.

DaveV

Hendrix and Gee are enough to beat us on the road.

Define "pretty good".

Alabama has won three of their last ten.

3kgthog

Do not assume we will beat Bama, UK, or Ole Miss on the road. The way this team shoots FTs along with their road history would lean to us going 0-3 in those games regardless of who we are playing. Keep in mind this Hog team always plays down to the competition. See SC, Georgia, the close game at Auburn, App. St., and Alabama at BWA.

bkh72

I was very doubtful on whether or not we could win this game, cause I know even nolan's teams had trouble winning in starkville.  I do think we can win out though and go 12-4

DaveV

And we've won 1 of our last 6 on the road in conf.

claytongray

And for the record, Arkansas is perfectly capable of losing almost every game left on the schedule. At the same time, the remaining opponents are easily defeatable. The problem is that no one knows which version of the Hogs will show up. Anyone thinking they have this team's remaining record figured out is delusional.

wrong again!

last road games...

LOSS to tenn, mstate, georgia
WIN at lsu, auburn, vandy (last year)

we're 3-3 of our last 6 sec road games.

DaveV

Oh I forgot we beat Auburn with 6 players by 4. My bad.

DaveV

You need to take your blinders off. Honestly, this team is not good enough for the NCAAT, we will get destroyed and embarrassed just like last year.

Wild Bill Hog

If (and that's a big if) this team makes the NCAAT it will be another one-and-done.  The bottom feeder seeding we will get will not put us up against a team we can beat.

This team has the talent but  it will have to work together and make better decisions.  I've seen Charles Thomas make two very dumb mistakes in the last two games.  I see players standing around and when Gary Ervin drives inside, no one is getting into position to get the ball.   Arkansas has a lot of size and people complain when they shoot too many threes.  So Gary goes inside and everyone is being passive, waiting.  Today a lot of loose balls went the other way.  Sometimes this is bad luck and sometimes laziness.  No one seems to be a playmaker on a consistent basis.   Sorry,  I don't know much but that is what I feel,

Ervin has he's head down he could see them if the were open, we just don't have a player at the point.

elksnort

I got to say, Ervin seemed to give a great effort today. I don't know how many turnovers he had. He has not been as bad as he was earlier in the season.

DaveV

Ervin played very good today, made a pair of big three's and had some nice TOUGH shots in the lane.

You wanna dog about someone it aint Ervin, he ran the point very well and has matured alot this season.

Dog Charles Thomas, 1 point against Tenn and 3 today with a pitiful turnover late in the game when he passed the ball 5 feet behind Ervin that led to 2 made free throws for MissStake. He is worthless. Worthless.
