You know when you're really ready for football season when you start setting your PS2 or PSP up with the computer playing both teams, and then you watch the games with the same anticipation that you would have watching a real game.

I like SC in this game. I would just as soon Have state start in the hole against us. However, I would also like to see  State do well and make the West Division look tougher. I guess its a win/win situation with me.

No...I just want State to beat the darn out of an overrated SC team. Im tired of SC and their new love affair with ESPN already. Spurrier is a great coach dont get me wrong. I just want State to win.

Whew. For a while there I thought I was the worst off. You take the cake my friend.

pork and mindy

It's on ESPN at 7. And I got SC winning easily.

And I totally agree with you. Every word of it. But I would be extremely surprised if St. didn't embarrass themselves. My buddy is their longsnapper. He even admits that the program is in shambles. Plus as much as I hate spurrier, he can coach.

What a freakin hit the State QB just took. Glad to see overrated Blake Mitchell throw an INT first pass of the season.

Oh yeah we can beat South Carolina, its Mississippi St. I'm worried about now :p

Big, big missed opportunity there for MSU.  I really think they can hang in this game, if they get a couple of breaks-  and they just had a huge one, and did absolutely nothing with it.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Carolina will do well...next year.  They are young, young.

exactly what ESPN said on the pregame show

that doesn't look like the mississippi st. we blew out at war memorial last year... should I be worried at all? or is South Carolina just that overrated??

Its an ineptness that's lasted a couple of years, excepting Norwood, who was a stud.   This may be one of the worst offenses we'll see all year.

South Carolina is that over-rated;  I wouldn't be suprised if MSU jumped up and bit them tonight, or if they failed to qualify for a bowl.

I am also. The MSU D is doing very well. Too bad their offense resembles that of a peewee team.

MSU's defense wasn't the question, coming in;  they're pretty good on that side of the ball, with an extra year of maturity over a pretty good squad from last season.   The games that they got thumped last year (Ark, LSU, Fla), were games where their offense sucked, and field position killed them

I called the Hogs out of the blue this afternoon, and she thought I had gone completely off my rocker...

Only two more days.  Two more days.

Coming up on it, yes.   And South Carolina Radio is officially the worst Homer Radio ever.   Both the PBP and Color guy say 'We' and 'Our' and 'Go Gamecocks!'

That my friends goes to show that you need depth at every single position on the field.

come Sat. Johnson could go down just like Mitchell...and those eyes ESPN is showing could be Mustains.

On an unrelated note, jesus, is Tulsa shellacking their opponent. 31-0 before half.  I don't care who you are whippin, that's impressive.
