Look at Arkansas when they were SWC, the wins and losses..................NOW, in the SEC, look at their wins and losses. It's not a "circle jerk ", just the truth. If you dont like it...............

We can guess all we want, but the only way you can look at is is non conference.  What if what if what if.  Does not matter.  Head to head the Big 12 wins more non conference games then any other conference.  This is the only way it can be looked at. 
VY was a one man team kind of like Matt Jones only better. 
In any other year i would say Texas would have lost several games, but not last year.

Why does the Big 12 win more OOC games than any other conference?  How many of their games are against I-AA programs?  How many of them are against non BCS-conference competition?

When the folks running the Big 12 complain about the poor OOC schedules within the Big 12, then that would certainly have to factor into the Big 12's record.

I take nothing away from Texas.  They did what they had to do.  But a weak conference schedule helped get them there.

NO WAY!! The only team they ever have to worry about is OU and maaaaybe TT or Braska. You cannot go through the SEC and mark for sure Win's. 1/2 the Big XII is a joke!

And ALABAMA would have given them a tough game?  Based on what?  I don't know how you come up with that, but it's sure not this way:

Certainly this is a case of the scoreline not telling the entire story. 

Alabama lost some key players.  They were not the same team at the end of the year without Prothro and some other players offensively. 

That Alabama could basically beat Texas Tech with an injury-riddled offense should tell you all you need to know about the strength of the Big 12 South.  That was the second best team in the Big 12...and they couldn't beat the 5th best team in the SEC (at the time), a team that was hurting on offense.

They beat USC.  They deserve the title.  But don't tell me that conference didn't serve as a platform for victory.

They won the title, with help from the refs on V. Youngs lateral for a TD, and PC being cocky and not punting the ball on 4th down at the end of the game.

And this is why the SEC may not have a NC for a long time.  League is too freaking tough.  The league beats up on itself all year long, leaving the undefeated seasons to guys from conferences that are not as strong top to bottom as the SEC is.  Thats why WV is the flavor of the moth this year.  They play ONE game all year LOUISVILLE, thats it.  If WV does not go 11-1 they should be labled as huge underachievers. 

NO, TX would not have gone unbeaten in the SEC, UNLESS they were in the west and played Vandy Sc and KY from the East.

Again, explain to me how it is so much tougher? If you are in the west, you get Ole Miss and Miss State. . .the last couple of years Arkansas.  In the east, Vandy, Kentucky and SCarolina.  Just like every other conference, the SEC has its great teams, its good teams, and its poor teams.
