Those deer won't know what hit them in mid-September.  Then the survivers will have to dodge arrows for darn near half a year.

johnny cash

Ticks will be really nice as well.

They'll make it just fine.  Gun deer season in Alaska was from AUG 1 to FEB 28.  I sure miss that season.
If gun control worked, Chicago would look like Mayberry, not Thunderdome. http://heyjackass.com/

I can deal with the tics.  It's the once a year "I just pulled a stupid" interactions with poison oak that do me in.

I heard that, I have a good case of that right now. Miserable!

Sadly I have to say that I wont be hunting the first weekend of bow season for the first time in many years. I hate to sweat on a deer stand.

I say that now, but chances are I'll have all my gear pulled out just a bouncing with anticipation the Friday night before.

But then I'll gripe about it when I get off the stand

If people from Texas can deer hunt in warm weather I think we all can handle it.

3 days.  Dialed in.  Low in the fitties.  Five and a half months to catch a buck making a stupid move.
