Missed him at 42 yards with my crossbow. Been sick ever since. Clean miss. I've seen him twice hunting since and have gotten pics so he is still in the area. Wish I hadn't ckoked. Was with 2 8 pts 15-16 inches wide earlier but have since gone their separate ways

May be you will get another chance this season.

He is a dandy, hope you get another shot at him, I bet you make good on it next time. People that say a crossbow is too easy,"just like shooting a rifle" probably haven't done it much if ever.
