If you look at the Boxscore a lot of the stats were quite even; except for the 2-point shooting.  Difference in the game right there.

Yeah....when we focus on something we usually do well. I am proud of our team and our staff. We played as well as we could have against a team at home that has had this game circled for a year. They are just a better team....period.

regi

Difference in this game. 7 first round NBA draft picks to 1.

You nailed it in your post regi

. . . and the fact that we were 0-9 for "3-pointers" in the first half.

Hard for them to rebound made dunks.

Yep, hit just 4 of them and it's a different game all together.
My girl told me to whisper something sexy in her ear...so I leaned in and said....Dominic Fletcher.

Now we're getting to the point of why.  How many poor passes, late passes, errant passes did we make, all in the first half?

Yeah, this was a big difference. The talent level on the bench for Kentucky is better. When we put in the 2nd team we have less scoring options. Bell, Kingsley, Williams.

UK has been out-rebounded 3 times this year.  Definitely one of the areas they can be beaten, or at least be vulnerable.

Texas 42, Kentucky 31
North Carolina 31, Kentucky 24
Georgia 36, Kentucky 24

If we don't get steals, or Bell can knock the 3 down, then the second team really struggles in set pieces.

Why is Bell getting worse defensively?

Does 6'4 DH take his minutes next season....ain't nobody beating out Whitt next fall as a starter to go along with Beared.

If he can consistently hit the three then yes, absolutely he take his spot

He's never been a good defender. He's gotten worse offensively I think. He's all or nothing.

I'm really afraid that DH will make Bell look like Gary Payton.
