Baseball is simple, but never easy.

Atleast his closing statement was right:

"They beat us in this building by wearing us down. Today we had more people"

I though the same thing. Don't complain about being young when it's what you want and strive for every year!!

I like that Bill said, "Yeah, but you always have a young team."

I guess by downplaying his team that keeps them motivated?  He does it after every game and it really does come across as smug.  He's a sleezeball, plain and simple.

Also admitted we have owned them last few years. He had them up for this game.

March Madness starts now...,

He basically said this was the first time he had the depth to play with us. Said we was physical. I agree he had them pumped to play us. We wasn't just another game for them.

They were due..we have owned them the past few years.....

It must suck having the best players in the country. Some of them didn't even go to the nba last year so they have players with experience.

Cal has a system that is allowed by rule and he uses it.   We shouldn't whine.  We got a decent team that isn't nearly as talented as the Ky team.  We played them about as good as we could if they play close to their best.  Our team has come a long way this season but if we should get to the Sweet 16, it would be a great day for Hog BB.  In my opinion, the 16 would be over achieving for this team.  I hope we can at least be runner up in the SEC tourney.  Though that will be tough.

Agreed.  Why is Mike so reluctant to sag and play some half court defense?  It cost us today....they beat us at our own game.

They ARE a young team.  5th youngest by age in the country.  Cal respects Arkansas and he respects that Arkansas is one of the few teams that hasn't been easy for him.  I mean, he's 101-4 at Rupp Arena since he's been at UK, and overall like 92% winning percentage against SEC schools.  For Arkansas to own 4 of those wins, including 1 of the 4 at Rupp is exactly why he respects them.  The other teams to win at Rupp?  Baylor and Texas A&M during the disaster 2012-13 season, #3 Florida and Arkansas last year.

I'd love to see CMA go "John Chaney" all up in Cal's face...I don't think Cal would talk smack back to CMA like he did to a very elderly coach Chaney....

Mike is only 7 years younger now, than Chaney was when he threatened Calipari.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Mike is built like a brick wall...but I agree, if I had to lay money on a Calipari v Chaney fight in 1994 I'd go with the older and less pigmentally challenged JC all night long

I think if an angry black man got up in our coach's face:: Do you see that as good or bad?
