Same time when we play Kentucky in the SEC tourney.
Take out Harris for him.
Only way to hang with them.

I think so too. I want to see them both out there.

Never mind the difference in today's game was guard play, but whatever makes you happy I guess...

Gotta play zone with both in there in my opinion, Kingsley gets lost if he has to play someone with an actual offensive game.

I agree with this completely.  I would still start Harris and still play Williams when we are pressing, but our zone worked fairly well, and made them play deep into the play clock...they just made their shots, period.  We'll see them again.....YES, they are very good, but, you can't tell me that if we played our best that we wouldn't have had a chance to win this game.  We are okay!

THIS.
Love the kid and he gives it his all but he is a liability except for blocking the occasional shot.

If hogs shoot like that in SECT they won't have to worry bout playing Kentucky

Hoping next season Tre Thompson with his formidable size along w/ Kapita can help establish a paint presence

We can't play them both together but in maybe 2 minute clips. Who comes in when they each need a breather? Playing zone would help keep them fresh longer but then you're getting into a half court game with UK that we don't have the shooters for.

The problem is very simple, our drop off from talent 6-10 vs UK's 6-10 cost us the game. Love Manny, Jacorey, Bell, and Durham for everything they've done to make this season great, but when you are relying on those guys for significant minutes and production, you are beating UK.

Love my Hogs, but this game was a terrible matchup for us. We had to overcome far too many things and play a near perfect game to win.

Thompson does have good passing skills to go with his size.

Arkansas trying to go big with UK in a halfcourt game would be a laughable disaster.

LSU is the only team in the SEC whose frontcourt could potentially hang with theirs.

After what you saw yesterday you still want to press that team? No thanks
I'd rather be dead than be a Vol

What is the news with Tre Thompson. I live in Texas..I see all of the games, haven't heard much on him..

portis and moses together for any period of time more than 2 minutes is a terrible idea.

Not saying you're wrong because it's a tough call.

But playing devil's advocate -- by playing Portis/Kingsley together, there will be long stretches with Jacori and Harris as the bigs. That would mean we'd be giving up a lot of size for long stretches.

That's about as long as they played together yesterday. Moses is pretty good in transition defense, blocking shots, but his half court defense is lacking.

He is a liability? Have we been watching different games?

He does jack the occasional questionable shot -- but they go in quite a bit. And I love his defense.

It is very hit and miss with Kingsley.    He gets lost a *ton* on defense.   He does block shots, but also gives up a ton of easy baskets and put backs.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

exactly, you never play strength for strength in hoops...basketball is a simple game, you play your best players, do the things you do best and hustle for every ball that's in the air or on the floor...that's all you can do...there's no magic elixir
The long Grey line will never fail our country.
