I have noticed in close games that we go away from the press completely during the last 3 minutes or so in order to make sure we make them go against a set half court defense.

Not last night. Only one possession defensively on made baskets or dead balls did we not play defense full court. The difference is we only trapped once in the final five minutes. The rest of the time we were applying soft full court pressure.
