A time out after Tenner's failed third down would sure have been handy right now. Wudda saved 30 seconds. Happened in a game earlier this year before the half as well. Don't get to carry them over.

You don't want to give Tennesse the opportunity to foce a 3 and out, and use their timeouts to get the ball back.

Especially given how our kick coverage has been.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

I was screaming at the tv to call a timeout. In college football it is always best to save time on the front end because all first downs stop the clock momentarily. Because of that, you can drive down the field with no timeouts as long as you're either making first downs or going out of bounds.
I don't hate the guy.  He's a great Hog, and a needed contributor.  I despise that he does not understand his role as a complimentary player puts an absolute ceiling on this team.

I don't have a problem with the clock mgmt to end the half.

Very hard to know that you are going to bust a big run and suddenly be in striking distance of the EZ.

The plan was to get into field goal range with the possibility of a shot at the endzone.  The Special Teams play forced that mindset.

No, that's standard practice when playing on the road in the SEC.

You preserve your own timeouts, and go to your 4 minute offense.  Viola.  Points.

No way that would have happened. We would have had to miss 3 straight passes then they would have to drive the field in under a minute with a less than mediocre passing game. We are not facing Tom Brady. I am not sure our staff realized that until late in the half. Giving way too much cushion. Playing 2 deep safeties and 7 yards off receivers. The linebackers playing too soft. When Rod Gilmore points it out as I am pointing it out to my family watching the game makes me wonder what our staff is thinking. Finally made some adjustments and we stopped em flat.
