In addition to the expected loss of starting DE Chris Stone ( 3 year starter, and 2nd team All-SBC), and Backup A-Back Tyler Trosin, starting tackle Jemar Clark, and starting nickle back Charleston Girley, and his backup, Justin Clifton, are out.

Clark (1st team All-SBC)  is probably the biggest loss, but the others will be sorely missed.

Griffin Riggs, and Auburn transfer Chase Robison both have starting experience, and will probably absorb all of Stones snaps.

Look for Daniel Keith ( who started as a true freshman before getting hurt) or Kyle Harris ( who started some games while at South Carolina) to fill in for Clark.

Khari Lain, who has been starting at LB, will probably be 1st in line to replace Girley, with backup safety Money Hunter, spelling him.

Former West Virginia lb Austin Copeland is taking Lain's place as a starter at LB, but not sure who his backup will be.

Former walk-on Sterling Stowers will probably take Trosin's backup spot.

Having quality depth (every where but qb) has been the key for this teams success, and will again be the key in the bowl game.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Listened to their HC, he indicated that other than a couple of bumps and bruises they were good to go for the NO Bowl.

Said that because they play so many players on the defensive line no one player gets a lot of snaps anyway, so perhaps losing Stone will not be as big a loss as one would think.

Thinks they have a lot of momentum going into the game, and the short time from the last game to the bowl game is a plus this year.
