Over/Under Name mix ups this year for Austin Allen?

How many times will we hear announcers say Brandon instead of Austin this year?  I say at least 3 or 4 times a game.  So, I'm saying at least 50 for the year.

This is the stuff we really should be talking about. Seriously.

On the season, 50 does seem light, probably 6 times per game.

On another note, playing catch with a little fabric Hog football in the living room with my son, I pitched it to him, he rolled right and tried throwing it out the window.

Immediately deleted every game from the 13 &14 seasons off my DVR that I have been saving because Jim Chaney is still living thru my DVR and I caint have that crap infect my impressionable 3 yo son. May run last year's Liberty bowl on a continuous loop until the season starts next weekend to counteract the  Chaneys that have infested my living room.

Next thing you know he'll be taking 30 minutes to go from the living room to the dining room via every room on the other side of the house.

Just noticed this thread but I had the exact same thought.  Arizona Razorbacks led by Austin (chose random name).

Something about him being Brandon's little brother will be mentioned as Austin and the offense jog out for their first series of the season, no doubt. It'll be the new "Biggest offensive line in football" for us this season.
Also, any game with Verne commentating is bound to have at least 10 name mix ups

His energy and enthusiasm for the game is still there, his ability to accurately describe those feelings have indeed gone south.

Even when his faculties were at their peak, I've never been a huge Verne fan.  I do appreciate his enthusiasm and love for college football though.  Just glad they aren't replacing him with the guy who failed miserably during the "Henry Heave" last year.  Nessler is the best in the game and will be a welcome change.  Now if we can only get rid of Gary.
