Oh wow, that is pretty sweet. Looking through it now, but there is a ton of info in that thing. Thanks!

On Page 3 (Page 5 of the actual document, but it says 3 at the bottom) it lists a lot of facts about the SEC Championship game. One of them being:

I sure hope we can change that in the coming years!

I defy anyone to claim that the SEC is not the best overall football conference in the country after reading the following:

My head just exploded...I'm done reading.  Anybody got any Visine?
"Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats." ― H.L. Mencken

Hogville prediction formula:

1.  Insert bad news prediction. A loss, a recruit going elsewhere, a coach leaving, etc.
2.  Tag "hope I'm wrong," on the end.
3a.  Enjoy a correct prediction.
3b.  Act like you're relieved you're wrong and celebrate with everyone else.

Interesting read... over the last 10 years AR is in the Big 6 and not AL. AL is poised to have a great year. So is MS ST. AU could be down this year.

Man it's stat overload!  No matter how you look at the stats, there have only been 6 schools since expansion that can claim SEC championships.  I'm ready for the Hogs to be part of that group!

Thanks  for the info
With The Croom at the Helm State could be more dangerous in a few years than it was under JS.  I figure on some more coachs in the SEC gettting Croomed this Fall.
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

someone, explain this to me (page 53):

PENALTIES .........            G  No Yds  Avg/G
1. Alabama . . . . . . . . .13   59 453  34.8
2. Vanderbilt . . . . . . . .12  59 479  39.9
3. South Carolina . . . . .12    69 532  44.3
4. Tennessee . . . . . . . .14   74 641  45.8
5. Ole Miss . . . . . . . . .12  77 571  47.6
6. Auburn . . . . . . . . . .13  80 619  47.6
7. Miss. State . . . . . . .13   77 680  52.3
8. Arkansas . . . . . . . . .13  82 707  54.4
9. Arkansas . . . . . . . . .13  83 717  55.2
10. Georgia . . . . . . . . . .13 91 760  58.5
11. Florida . . . . . . . . . .13 107 805 61.9
12. LSU . . . . . . . . . . . .14 117 880 62.9

or this (page 11):
"Among SEC schools, Georgia was first with 37 former players on NFL rosters, followed by Tennesse with 36, LSU with 33, Florida with 31 and Auburn with 30. Alabama had 21 players on NFL rosters, while South Carolina had 19, Ole Miss and Mississipi State had 17 each, Arkansas had 12, Kentucky six and Vanderbilt with five. The SEC had five of its schools with 30-or-more-players on NFL rosters. No other conference had two. Nationally, Miami (Fla.) leads with 46 former players on NFL rosters, followed by Ohio State with 44, Florida State with 41, Tennessee with 36 and Georgia with 35."

It seems like there were some more errors too, I just can't remember where I read them...

All in all, great article, the SEC is very impressive.
