Writer takes a look at upcoming impact games from each conference.  No mention of Arkansas in the SEC section given we are currently in 7th place at the halfway point (we'll see how 4-4 SC does tonight hosting 3-5 MSU).

3of5-2

This league is average, which ironically favors us in the SECt.

Ark is never talked about, haven't been talked about and won't be talked about until we get tired of being an afterthought.

Projections for the SECT:

SEC standings are going to change quite a bit over the last half of the season.  But if we were to use the projection above which takes into account each team's schedule, this is how it could look:

Hogs 6th seed
Play 11th seed in first game = LSU, UGa or Miss St

Win that and its 3 seed = Tenn (or UF, UK or AU):  This matchup may depend on what the opponent is playing for at this point and how seriously they want to take the SECT.  We've seen teams in recent years not want to wear out their team plus rest injured players when they are a lock for the NCAAT.

As many minutes as we are having to play Barford and Macon, not sure how deep we could go with not getting the bye this season.  Would take an unexpected contributor getting on a roll perhaps (Jones?).

We can't afford to split or lose any of our next 4 games. I can't see us being a favorite in any of our last 5 games. Any team with an inside game, or big's, is going to be tuff for us. What do you think of bringing Gafford off the bench?
