Wow, Auburn yet again plays an incredibly PATHETIC non-conf schedule.  I guess they did not learn anything from 2 seasons ago.  Buffalo and A-state.  2 teams that can barely stay d1 eligible.

Bama has a darn tough sched.  Trips to Fay, Fla, LSu, and Tn, plus their Iron bowl with Aub.  THoase are 5 gut wrenchers right there.
People ask me what I do in winter when there is no baseball.  I will tell you what I do. I stare out the window, and I wait for spring.

I think Tenn. has the toughest Non-Conference games and a trip to Georgia.  They probably have the toughest.

Most SEC schools have a weak NonCon this year.

I don't know, most of the schedules look pretty solid.  A lot of big boys are being played with WV, USC, Louis., Mich., FSU....pretty strong schedules all around.

Yes, especially TN. Marshall and Af will be no match.  Memphis has no DW anymore and who knows if Cal will play up to potential or tank again.

Why is Mississippi State traveling to play UAB?  What is it with the Mississippi schools and their unusual road trips.  Ole Miss has traveled to Jonesboro and Laramie, Wyoming.

Some very good games though.

Tennessee-Cal
Ole Miss-Missouri
The 3 SEC-ACC rivalry games
Fresno-LSU

I wonder why UK and Indiana aren't playing?  They always seem to.

HighOnHogs

Matt Jones had one of the toughest schedules I've ever seen Arkansas have a couple years ago. That was brutal for the only returning offensive starter and just three on defense too.

It is the continuation of a home and home series we started with them a few years ago.  What makes it actually weird is that we played them at home in 2004, then last year did not play them, and pick it back up this year and play them at their home.  I guess that is one way not to start a rivalry. LOL

I agree with you.   With having to play the other Stoops who will be in his 3rd year of the reclamation project and Fresno State....that is touch none con.......throw in Tulane who will be at home again and absolutly hates LSU....and those 4 road SEC games.....LSU has a tough one go of it.  I dont think they get out without 4 losses next year.

Well, I guess it's not a far road trip.  Starkville to Birmingham is only about 3 hours right?   Hopefully you'll send 10-15,000 to that game

yeah, about a 3 hour trip. I agree, I hope we get a lot of fans to show up but then again we very well could be 1-2 at that point and total apathy may have set in already.  We start with South Carolina, then Auburn, then Tulane but all are home games.  Don't know who makes our schedule but apparently they don't get it.  LOL.

According to "precious", he'll be telling everybody who'll listen that the Hogs have the toughest schedule in the history of college FB!, especially if we lose a few early, or lose some we shouldn't.

Hey is Gameday going to be there for the USC-MSU game that opening Thursday Night?  They usually are for the first Thursday game of the year.  The reason I ask is because I'm thinking about going to it and then heading up to Fayetteville the next day for the Arkansas-Southern Cal game.  My wife works for South Carolina, so we go to alot of USC games.

Biggus Piggus

Mississippi State has the toughest schedule by far.

Aug. 31 SOUTH CAROLINA
Sept. 9 AUBURN
Sept. 30 at LSU
Oct. 7 WEST VIRGINIA
Oct. 21 at Georgia
Nov. 4 at Alabama
Nov. 18 ARKANSAS
Nov. 25 at Ole Miss

That's pretty nasty.  Road trip to UAB might not be fun either.  LSU and Florida schedules are tough too.
[CENSORED]!

sage_dragoon

Georgia has non-conf games vs UAB(always knocks someone off), Colorado & GTech. Although all are at home. Then again, they get both MS schools from the west.

Can you get a better road schedule than USC has.

at MSU
at Kentucky
at Vandy
at Florida(Spurrier's homecoming)
at Clemson(still in South Carolina)

jkstock04

I'd say Florida and Miss. St. have the toughest schedules.....Auburn has the easiest by far....what a screw off schedule.  Mabye Tubberville doesn't have the right to talk sh** with a schedule like that...thats pathetic when comparing them to some of the other schedules...what a joke:

AUBURN
Sept. 2 WASHINGTON STATE
Sept. 9 at Mississippi State
Sept. 16 LSU
Sept. 23 BUFFALO
Sept. 28 at South Carolina
Oct. 7 ARKANSAS
Oct. 14 FLORIDA
Oct. 21 TULANE
Oct. 28 at Ole Miss
Nov. 4 ARKANSAS STATE
Nov. 11 GEORGIA
Nov. 18 at Alabama

Thanks for the F Shack.

Auburn's is easy.  Road games at Ole Miss, MSU, USC, and Bama.  Auburn should go undefeated next year it seems.

Miss. State looks to have the toughest schedule, and Auburn appears to have the softest. However, Florida, and Georgia have schedules that could be brutal as well.

Actually, let me rephrase Auburn's schedule - "it's almost embarrassing".

GA IN MY OPINION AUBURN HAS A COUPLE OF GAMES THAT ARE NON CONFERENCE AND THEY OPEN UP WITH A TOUGH ONE IN WASH. STATE. AND IN CONFERENCE ,THEY HAVE TO PLAY US AND WE WON'T BE A PUSH OVER NEXT YEAR IMO.
