I've been thinking about going Operational Test next, how do you like it so far?  We're getting a major block upgrade and they need OT&E pilots for 2-4 years to get them going on the line and in the schoolhouse before roll out in 3-4 years.

I love the job, flying is phenomenal and for me the location is a bonus!  DT has its moments of excitement buried in hours of boredom; OT we get to go out and test the extremes each day.  Depending on what your MDS has in store, it could be a blast!  Highly recommend it from my seat.  Cheers, Quatro

Aviator or tech? Active?

Hogville prediction formula:

1.  Insert bad news prediction. A loss, a recruit going elsewhere, a coach leaving, etc.
2.  Tag "hope I'm wrong," on the end.
3a.  Enjoy a correct prediction.
3b.  Act like you're relieved you're wrong and celebrate with everyone else.

Thanks how is the Rosepine area

That's where we bought and settled down after I retired.

It's a small town in between Leesville & Deridder. About 15 minutes from Fort Polk. The cops don't play there so the crime rate is way lower than the surrounding areas. Rosepine is closer to Deridder than Leesville. Deridder has everything you need, but if you need something small, they have a Dollar General and a Meat Market in town.

You trying to rent or buy?

How many family members? PM me and I can square you up with a realtor if you want.
